Map the infrastructure

Draw buried utilities as points and polylines, structures as polygons — or search an address to jump straight to the site. Every asset gets a type and a PPV vibration limit.

Draw each blast area where it will actually happen and assign the charge weight per delay. Move it, resize it, re-run it — the map is the plan.

The table that gets your plan approved

For every blast and every protected asset, BlastingPlanner computes the required stand-off distance from your charge weight and the asset's PPV limit, measures the actual distance on the map, and calls it: pass or fail.

When something fails, you don't get a shrug — you get the charge weight that would pass. Copy the table, or export the whole review as a Word document and send it to whoever signs off.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a concurrent editor?

An editor seat is in use while someone is creating or modifying plans — drawing infrastructure, placing blasts, running calculations. Seats are floating: a team of ten engineers who rarely edit at the same time can share two seats. When an editor closes the workspace, the seat frees up.

Do reviewers at a utility need paid seats?

No. Viewing is free and unlimited — every engineer, inspector, and manager who needs to look at a plan, its contours, or its Distance Review can do so without consuming a seat.

Do you offer volume or annual discounts?

Both. Annual billing brings a seat from $3,588 to $2,999 per year (about 16% off). Buy 4–5 seats and every seat is 10% off; 6–10 seats and every seat is 20% off. Need more than 10 concurrent editors? Contact us for volume pricing.

Can you import our existing infrastructure data?

Yes. If your network lives in KML, GeoJSON, or shapefiles, we work with you to import it and match your vibration limits to each asset class — assisted onboarding, done with your engineers rather than left to a file uploader.

Imperial or metric?

Both. PPV limits in in/s or mm/s, distances in feet or meters — each user picks their default and can switch at any time.

What exports are included?

Every plan can be exported as a Word (.docx) Distance Review report and as a PNG map with the PPV contour legend. Exports are included on every seat — viewers included.
